Summer and Ice Cream

Today was not a good idea to stay outdoor. The summer heat was so unbearable that it gave me an instant headache in a matter of seconds being under the sun. My skin did not just turn crisp from the burning sun, every skin cell was pleading and bleeding for respite too. (It's a hyperbole of course)

At times like these, we get an excuse to gorge with ice cream. Though some said that it is a fallacy to eat ice cream to cool down during hot weather but still I indulge myself on my favorite double dutch ice cream because it gives me euphoric effect.

Confession of A Chocoholic

I am a chocoholic. I nibble it like eating nuts. There was this one time... (I guess more than once actually) that I was able to eat the whole king size bar of Cadbury milk chocolates. Though i know some facts about chocolates, I sometimes (i am figure conscious) can’t help but binge on it.

Last December, an uncle from California sent us a big box full of presents. I was so elated seeing those chocolates inside. I jigged like a child. There were two sets of chocolates that I, in some sort like, fell in love with. It seems like those were some kind of china that I should preserve and display only. It really took me 3 weeks to finally settle on opening the jar of KIRKLAND Signature Chocolates of the World. And I could not afford to eat more than one piece for a day. Eating it is like eating a diamond, figuratively speaking. It is like wasting something precious. When everything was chomped through (it lasted for a month really), similar dilemma happened whether to open or not the Ferrero Prestige. That was really the craziest thing I ever felt or did to my chocolates. And I wish that would never happen again, it was such a torture.

( I wish the lyrics can be as good as the melody but sometimes you cant have it all... I just love the music... It strucks me deep down... It sounds so 60's or 70's and so pleasant and soothing. So if you cant figure out the imagery of the lyrics, just forget about it and enjoy the melody instead... Listen not to the words and maybe its connotative meaning but rather listen to the melody, the tune, the sound or accompaniment. In short just listen to the music and never mind lyrics)

I have been loving the TWILIGHT SAGA... been reading the books with more than just interest. And the movie, though did not do perfect justice of the novel (it all happens anyway from all movies that are adaptation from novels or other literary genre), is remarkable enough. It has gained supporters as well.

This year, I can not wait for the NEW MOON to be released, casting has not been finalized (i think) and shooting the film has been thoroughly prepared. But we, the fans, are painstakingly waiting in our end. I have been constantly surfing the net for the Summit Entertainment for its press releases for New Moon, yet as of this time, they have not said a word. The excitement has been steaming on and on.

And so i found this impressive trailer that a talented and creative fan made while waiting for the OFFICIAL trailer...works like these help us to be amuse and forget counting the days, til the D DAY come.

My PA

If there are things that are very special to me that I can keep if only to choose one should situation calls for it, that would be my P1i. This little thing is like a personal assistant to me. It carries all my technological needs. It has its own file manager that stores tools that i need and keeps the file that are important to me. It can sync with my computer. It can connect me with my blog here at blogger. The calendar carries more than just telling me the date and the clock can display specific world time that i need. It has connection managers that can do bluetooth, infrared, internet, WLAN and other mobile network stuff. The entertainment menu holds not just for mp3 but also for mp4, and other video formats. It also has FM radio and online media. Aside from a memory card, it is a touch screen phone and a video-call ready. All in all, this phone lets me in touch with my loved ones at the same time keeps me connected with my online job, and most of all entertains me when I am bored.

Bubble Gum Blast

One thing I indulge myself with is to eat at a fave restaurant... not to chow down myself on food but to simply enjoy my dessert. When we were in QC last year, every time my husband and I will go out on a date... I get to pick the place and just guzzle my favorite afters. One of my favorite places is 5 cows. They have these various sweets that are very irresistible. My favorite is Bubble Gum blast. This dessert is sinfully delicious. The taste of bubblegum is gratifying. This time i get to eat the bubblegum without worrying of digestive disorders (as the folks said when I was little).

It’s been like three months since i got hold and read the TS (and still rereading for the 3rd time the whole saga) and still watching the movie for... i dunno... perhaps beyond my fingers can count...

Obviously, those were a hyperbole ... but that only implies how i am so into it already... somehow i find the excuse that i always am a passionate woman.. i love romance and the happy-endings and the thrill of being in-love and being loved... despite my age and the fact that i have someone with me for about 11 years not only to warm me in the cold night but my a-matter-of-factly- hero in this world. John has always been my knight in his own shining armour as i pictured him to be ... 14 years back... and he gets better everyday...

Reading the TS, has unearthed that fondness of reading romance. I didn’t know that it had been long buried to the deepest core of the earth as i busied myself in the real battles of life. I had no idea that the undercurrent of this fast-paced world, not to mention the mammoth concerns that our family have been facing, has drifted me away from things that i enjoyed and even loved doing....

The TS has enlivened my old self. The “me” that i have shhhed every time it calls “myself” for attention to enjoy life...

I am so glad that Stephenie Meyer was able to write these novels splendidly that it brings “me” back to life.
