Fashionable headbands

Last night, we already opened our presents. We had an early Christmas family dinner too. This is because we are going on vacation tomorrow. We will be spending Christmas with my husband family. We missed being with them since 2007. It is hard to carry all those presents and bring them all back here. It is not practical.

So we all decided to have family dinner and gift-giving. I got one of these Swarovski headband from my sister.

John gave me also a black metal chain headband, similar to this photo here.

Renesmee’s Farm

Yeah, I am playing FarmTown…  when things are a bit stressful and I could think no more… I want to simply take a breather…and playing FarmTown for awhile helps me wind down…

After a short game…either plowing or harvesting someone else’s farm – or even mine…I felt being gingered up.

Gifts: Did you get ‘Em all?

Common problem during Christmas is finding the gifts for your loved ones. This is a perennial concern of most people. Then cramming begins…

Like right now, six more days to go before Christmas Eve… and some people are not halfway done with their list… mom? Check? Dad? uncheck… gramps… sistah 1, sistah 2… brother 1, cousin 1… god child 1…2…3… and the list goes on… ALL UNCHECK!

Aside from the dilly-dally attitude… it is quite a challenge to think of what gift to wrap.

Lemme list down this unsolicited advise. Here are 10 general items that you can rush buying before time beats you.

  • Toiletries
  • Gadgets
  • clothing
  • shoes
  • gift certificates from SPAs and Saloon
  • Wine/ Basketful of fruits or goodies
  • Jewelries and Accessories
  • Home Decor
  • Office Stuff
  • Books

You can write on your list… Dad- Book… in this way it is easier which section to go rather than doing “random pick”… or that “mini-mini-mynimo”. It’ll save you time.

In case time really is a constraint, you can go to online shops. It is the easiest way. But bear in mind that Holiday is nearing, so they probably are on their peak… your loved ones might be receiving their gifts next year.

If I were you, I rather pick those items by myself and really take time to shop. It is all worth it. Seeing their faces when they open your gifts? That’s priceless and it pays the time you spent.

My virtual friend posted in her plurk that she has this annoying, huge, red pimple right on the bridge of her nose. And I'm having three of these stubborn pimples on my right cheek too.

I used to panic at the sight of this hideous pimple. But now, I found the right product to combat it.

Yeah! That inserted photo- is the amazing product that works for me.

Paint

I am a certified workaholic. But my body can not sustain all the roles I have been playing everyday simultaneously. I have been professing that I wear so many hats everyday- wife, mom of 3 kids- 10, 8 and 2- teacher coz kids are homeschooled, freelance provider- I write SEO articles, web content, blog articles, content articles- sister, coach, servant, and other minor roles thrown at me every now and then...

Because, I (shamefully confessing now), abused my body, so like the machine that conks out- my body breaks down as well.

In order for me to cope up, I need to take things slow especially work. I need to have a hobby- a new one. I lost interest with beadings lately. So I am trying other things to help me vege out.

My daughter introduced to me, MS PAINT. She is a budding artist. John knows how to sketch and draw. He used to join poster-making contest back in high school. His cousins and other relatives also have gifted hands. I have two uncles- brothers of my mother, who are very good in sketching and drawing. ME? Well, I have other talents. LOL! So I believe Yanni has the genes of an artist. Oh she can play the piano too...

So back to my daughter, yesterday we had a great time painting and drawing. Here is my work.
