Revlon CustomEyes™

Got myself a new palette for my eyeshadows from Revlon. They had this “Mother’s Day Sale” so Revlon CustomEyes™ was one of the products that were on sale. The company had this “buy one get one” promo.

I bought one and had one for free… so t’was like getting 50% percent off for each. But then when I tried it on my eyes… got a little frustrated because it did not turn out the way I expected it. I was not really happy yet on the bright side of things, at least I had two for a price of one.

I dunno why I forgot the mantra “to test the water first”. It is always a “hit or miss” for cosmetics regardless of the brand... whether pricey, bargain-priced or cheapie.... so sometimes experimenting with new palette is expensive if you would buy the product right away...It is really best to try the eyeshadow make up tester first on your skin so you will know the effect of it on your skin… and avoid wasting your hard earned money especially if you are accustomed to buy from branded ones.

Color Bloom

For the past month, I’ve been searching for the perfect lip balm… I say perfect because I’ve been jumping from one brand to another but I could not get that kind of balm that would relieve me from chapped lips… but the relief it offers only last for awhile…

 

 

Vanity?

Women are very keen to beauty, wellness and fashion. One way or another we are interested in clothes, shoes, accessories, toiletries, fragrances and cosmetics. We might not splurge our money on it but we appreciate those we read in women's magazine or see while window shopping. And somehow we tend to carry out ourselves with the majority- like what is in, fashionable, what is comfortable, or trendy.


Making one self beautiful on the other hand is important for everyone, men and women alike. The form and means may vary but still it equates to the same purpose of making one self looks good and fit. This is not mainly because one is insecure and afraid of losing a mate but this is basically to keep one's self esteem. I am not sure if all will agree but this is how I see things.


Other's might call it vanity, but this is simply a normal way of taking care of one's self and be groomed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Things done with appropriateness and moderateness are not only safe but acceptable.
